I've been going to do this for a while...start a creative thread for poems and short stories and whatnot. My friend sent me this story that she wrote last
week and I thought I'd make it my submission to the creative thread in honor of her.
The Perfect Man
A woman, frustrated with her love life, prayed before she went to bed.
"Dear Lord, please let me meet the perfect man."
Not getting an answer she crawled into bed and fell asleep. She opened her eyes and much to her surprise she was in heaven, sitting right next to God. She blinked in surprise, and he just smiled.
"I'm here to answer your prayer." He said.
"Oh...wonderful! Where is he?" She asked.
"First, tell me about your perfect man." God said.
"Well he's handsome, smart, loyal, always glad to be with me, loves to cuddle, wants to take long walks holding hands, free with his kisses and loves me with all his heart." Once she finished with her description God smiles.
"I think I know just the one for you."
The woman awakes in her own bed, disappointed to see that it was just a dream. Suddenly the covers move, her heart flutters! The man of her dream must be in bed with her, she thinks. She lifts the covers to lay eyes on him. Only to receive a long wet kiss from a chihuahua puppy, with a note pinned to his collar.
