I've recently realized that this propensity to expect people to be "happy, happy, happy" is not only a pente thing but prevalent in American
society as well. We Americans have a lot of pressure on us to be "successful" in every way possible and weakness is looked down upon, although I
honestly think that's slowly changing for the better as time goes by.
Pentes take it further than others due, I suppose, to feeling compelled to force everyone to put the best face on christianity as possible. As if God needs defending. Hrmph.
I was wondering if those of you in other countries have noticed if this pressure to be happy all the time is part of your society also or just a pente thing?
