That is 7:01 of my life that I will never have back. But it is like a bad car wreck sometimes you can't help but look. At around the 5:50 point it shows a lady that looks like she has shouted her hair down. Very scary.

That is sooo true, TacoFred. I watched it too. I even watched a couple/three other ones that were linked with it. I listened to Mickey Mangun as I have many times in person. I felt like I was home again, the uncomfortable home, an embarrassing home. I home I had to get away from and stop Mickey Mangun from singing...click.

I have never understood the obsession with MM that the UPCers and Bill Clinton have with her. I do not consider her a good much less great singer. But I have never been to one of the POA services either.

Promoting drinking in church until you get drunk and roll on the ground isn't a good thing for adults, adolecents and children.... be it some alleged "spiritual" drunken spurt going on or not...
What the hell kinda message is really being spread... then bash AA meetings... please. |

Sorry I had to type this out so this absurd song is recorded here
V1 We've been known to get wild, and let our hear hang down Drink till we get merry, rolling on the ground We've cranked up the msuic and we've danced all around Shouting hallelujah as His glory came down It's just our style, the way we do our thing We're the Pentecostals, baptized in Jesus' name Chorus Im a Pentecostal and I am not ashamed Just read the book of Acts, we are still the same We worship only one God, Jesus is His name We are Apostollic in every way V2 Some think we're crazy others think we're strange But when I got this Holy Ghost I could not contain more exciting than a party, higher than a drug It's the greatest feeling, being washed in His blood If you're tiered of tradditions, religions done you wrong Yor're feeling dry and empty, no longer have a song The story is not over, things for you can change you can feel the fire burning, as the spirit fans the flame There's millions who have come, and millions on the way They're leaving their dead churches for this Pentecostal faith There's a hunger in the world that gets bigger everyday They're crying out for Pentecost that is why I say Chorus V2 Chorus x 2 2nd half V2 Chorus x 2 =======================================

My take on this "classick":
We are Pentecostals Praise be to our name Forget about theology, because we are insane These callouses upon our hands And this, my friend's a fact We got from never ending patting ourselves on the back We roll around in church, like we're drunker than a skunk Or higher that kite, or a second level bunk Emotion's our theology If it feels good then it's right And if you want it confirmed, there's a prophet here tonight So "touch not the Lord's annointed" Men like Brother Hinn Copeland, Tilton, and Roberts and old what'sisname again. We are Pentecostals Praise be to our name Forget about theology, because we are insane These callouses upon our hands And this, my friend's a fact We got from never ending patting ourselves on the back So please excuse me, brother I'll be back in just a sec Hinn needs some cash for Thursday And I have to write a cheque Now if you don't believe in us Which we consider swell Because non-pente's, as we all know are roasting down in Hell We are Pentecostals Praise be to our name Forget about theology, because we are insane These callouses upon our hands And this, my friend's a fact We got from never ending patting ourselves on the back We roll around in church, like we're drunker than a skunk Or higher that kite, or a second level bunk Emotion's our theology If it feels good then it's right And if you want it confirmed, there's a prophet here tonight |

Cute SilentKnight, although UPCers don't associate with anyone not in the UPC or non-Jesus-namers (Hinn/Copeland/Roberts). They're in their own little world.

I know, but the brain dead mindset is a constant.
How else does one explain such illogical theology not based on anything remotely associated with Scripture? Also I wasn't aware that the singers were UPC. Then again this is the same lot that bans TV, resulting in the following piece of illogic: TV bad, not allowed. Computer NOT TV, computer allowed. Computer work LIKE TV, but not TV. TV not give easy access to porn. Internet give computer all porn. TV not have right click, not save porn. Computer have right click, save porn. Yeah...right. And TV is still bad, even with this? Somebody, please, get me an Advil... |

Unless you use your large flat screen tv as your computer monitor... owhhh yeah I WENT THERE!
If they have a Mac computer... right click doesn't exist... imagine being a windows user for many years and discovering that there is no such thing as right click on an iMac! OUCH!!!! yet... learning to navigate around in an iMac.... sweet... Computer acclimation stage 1... LOL |

Hey Bootsie!!! I'm telling!!! :P
But seriously, you make a valid point. The line between the two technologies is so thin and faint as to be non-existent when put to the use you describe. |

My aunt has E-mail, my cousin has a Myspace, and my grandfather has web TV.

My "parents" hide their TV in the bedroom closet. That way they can "fellowship" in any of the pente circles they want and still watch the tube.

Lol~ The first thing that came to mind while viewing the clip was, "dancing pigs'! Really~
