Someone mentioned in another thread that her son has been having some trouble at school and she thinks coming out of pentecostalism has something to do with it. It just got me thinking that we don't discuss the kids to much and what leaving does to them.
Its hard enough for an adult to explain standard and godhead issues, I remember my own futile debate with a secular teacher, how the other kids would isolate those of us in the "skirt squad"... we just didn't have much in common, after a while I just stopped trying to get along with them.
anyone have any stories to share or advice to give?
Besides being supportive and lovin the daylights out of the kid, what can one do?
