Today I read an article in the Daily Express about a a man with seven concubines who left a group I was once part of. The North London fellowship consists of Jews and Gentile, and is Charismatic. When I was there, it was led by a Messianic "rabbi", who later defected to traditional Judaism, supposedly fleeing for his life.
A few years after the "rabbi" ran off, the man left the group to start a fellowship on the South Coast. There, he promoted "Torah" [Jewish Law), Deliverance, Healing, Raising of the Dead, Five-Fold Ministries, and Current Day Apostles
I don't remember meeting him, but I recall vividly expressing real hatred towards him, even though I knew little about him. Perhaps I picked up on his personality.
Anyway, this man ended up in prison - as the article says - and divorced his wife, and now has seven common law wives.
At one time, he was accused of exorcising the wife of an Austrian opera singer against her will, but was eventually acquitted.
