I've defriended some relatives because of some things that have been said. I called my mom and told her that I just didn't want to hear about how Hitler was a wonderful man and President Obama is the antichrist. Regardless of one's political beliefs and affiliation for me I can't see how the deaths of 11 million Jews, homosexuals, disabled, and gypsies are justified as love for one's country. I did not even bother to comment the same because 4 people had "liked" it in 5 minutes. I've also hidden some people so I don't have to see their craziness.
Why the hell would Pentecostals be saying that Hitler was wonderful? I know why they say Obama is the Anti-Christ. Anti-Christ is more "socially acceptable" than what they'd really like to call him, badly enough. Obama's had debates and given speeches in churches that while not openly Dominionist or Pentecostal, are pretty frakking close, AND he had the Pastor of one of those churches give the invocation and basically a sermon at his inauguration for frak's sake! Ol ' Barack's gone on record about his Christianity multiple times, of course unlike Bush he's not putting on a front of being "their" type of Christian (even though Bush wasn't either, really.) So he's not one of "Them" big deal, no President in this country has been. Sarah Palin was the closest they've gotten to that and she was on the losing side and some say she lost him the election. (I think I, like a lot of people, might've voted for McCain if not for Palin.)

But it's a known fact that Hitler was heavily into the occult, and "spiritism" (BS) hocus pocus, and the Nazis were wide promoters of an Asatru based belief system. (This is very offensive to actual Asatruar) These are facts, proven facts, and those ideas are things every Pentecostal "True BeIiever" I've ever met would consider demonic and witchcraft. So why are they saying he was wonderful, exactly? I mean, aside from the Pentecostal instinct for the inappropriate? I've heard more stuff from Fundamentalist (none Pente that I know of) Christian authors, speakers, and writers...not to mention End Times guys...about how Germany during World War II was literally infested with the Demonic and the Occult...than I cared to count. A lot of this came from guys who don't talk much about Demons otherwise...like Jack Van Impe...back in the day I just decided they'd watched Raiders of the Lost Ark too many times.

So they glorify one who, in modern times they would consider a "Witch" but dislike one who is known to be a Christian? Like so much in Penteville, it makes no sense.
