Uhh... maybe you didn't know it (or you're trying to tweak me)- but I AM an anthropologist. I work in an archaeology lab (archaeology is part of anthropology in American anthropology), and my area of specialty is poverty/race issues. I help to teach archaeology and aspects of anthropology. Indeed, I'm one of the few four-fielders (I study aspects of Cultural, Archaeological, Linguistic, and even Biological Anthropology) connected with my department/school.

Suggestion- avoid Wikipedia like the plague. Go only with peer-reviewed journals. Wikipedia isn't as accurate as people would like to think. Indeed, nearly every time we teach the course "Fantastic Archaeology" students loose points for using Wikipedia (or Answers.com) instead of the proper sources- and get the wrong answers.

For instance, we ask for the archaeological definition of provenience, and they come back with the definition for PROVENANCE. The terms are completely different in archaeology and VERY precise.
