I get that "Have a blessed day" on a regular basis (usually when I go into stores like the local Wal-Mart, where I get it often). It also offends me, because I know they're forcing their religion on me.

The problem is if I start lodging complaints (especially at the Wal-Mart where I get it the most), it makes walkaways look bad (I can hear it now- the manager asks me why I would refuse a wish for a 'nice' day). I can't expect the management to listen- based upon the sorts of products and promotions they have in our store. The customers- a few might understand- but many of them might just try to lynch someone who gets upset! Dominionist city!

It's bad enough there that I try to go to the cashiers I know won't push stuff- like a Muslim woman whom I've seen get treated rough by people. I don't always get that sort of choice, as now they have people in the fast lanes queue up in a single line and then have people go to the "next available cashier".
