Thanks Lozza - and well - I do tend to lay it on real thick when I want to get a laugh from Boustro...who...bless him...does report back when he thinks I'm funny.
~I'm talking about Manchester in the SEVENTIES....really really grim...people still walking around with rickets due to malnutrition, people sleeping on the streets and shooting up heroin and the buildings crumbling around us. Drunks staggering around the city centre - not too many shops because nobody had any money... It is a totally different place now as you know. The IRA bomb was a terrible thing, three death and 200 injuries. But it meant they had to rebuild the city, and it's looking great.
