BTW, Angel, you're right that not all pentecostals and charismatics are bad people. But the system they are in is horribly flawed, and it is fertile ground for lies and abuses of all kinds. Lies are rewarded. Oh, you don't think so? Try an experiment. Make up an outrageous story of a wonderful miracle that happened to you, and tell it to your buddies. Will they discern that the story is not true? Unlikely. Or at least nobody will say so. Rather, you will get pats on the back and praise-the-Lords. You'll be extra spiritual, in their eyes.

Silly experiment? You would never do such a thing, I suppose? Well, maybe not. But trust me -- it happens all the time in p/c circles. People stretch the truth beyond recognition. Sometimes, they make things up out of whole cloth. And they are almost never caught. Why not? Because everyone does it, and nobody wants their own lying to be caught!

It's all a big show. You may not know it now, but, as I said, you may wake up some day. I hope you do.

Further discussion should go to the other forum I mentioned.
