My sister Amy, as I've mentioned before, is a ministerial student at a Church of God bible school. My cousin Adam, on the other hand, is a divinity student at a Presbyterian university. Adam is well versed in ancient Greek, and Hebrew. He uses linguistical references to these biblical languages to make his theological points. My sister does not feel that she needs to understand the original languages of the Bible, to make her points, as she claims to be guided by the Holy Spirit. She says that Adam is so smart he's stupid. I told her that maybe she just doesn't realise how ignorant she is. As Adam and I are childhood friends, and I do not like people insulting him behind his back. I then asked her, "what if someone else disagrees with your beliefs and also claims to be guided by the Holy Spirit. She told me that if anyone disagrees with her, that person must not have the Holy Spirit. In case any of you wish to see an example of what I mean, here is Adam's blogpost, which Amy had me post her comment to, as she does not have a google account. puritancalvinist.blogspot.com/2007/12/real-authors-write-responsibly-as-many.html
