It's an excellent debate, but at the end Sam Harris still comes out the more logical/rational person...the rabbi just comes out looking like he is going to cling to his beliefs no matter how illogical they are.

The Rabbi even says...a few times...that the Bible isn't infallible (he doesn't use this word, but says that it should change with the times--evolve--and it is the belief by most that the Bible is infallible, unchanging...written by an unchanging god. If god is unchanging...then, he doesn't "evolve" with the times) The Rabbi admits that living by the law of Moses isn't humane nor moral, yet he as a Jewish Rabbi doesn't acknowledge the books of "grace" (the New Testament) so, if he REALLY believes what he says he believes then as a *good* Jew should live according to Moses' law.

For example, they should stone their kids if they are rebellious...and they should kill their fiance's if they are found not to be virgins prior to marriage, etc etc etc.

It's contradiction after contradiction.
