First of all. You have to work real hard to paint me a bitter against the UPC. I am an Ex-Wesleyan not UPC. Half of my family is still Wesleyan. I do not feel compeled to warn people about Wesleyans. I don't always agree with them. I do in the case of most of the Pentecostal movement esp. the UPC.

I basically said they jumped all over the celeb paragraph and ignore theology and legal paragraph. And attacked me as bitter. I laugh at that. I have two things. #1. To seek the truth. Visiting my wife's brother's church helped her a lot. I want to know if what is said here at Ex-Pentecostals is true, or tainted by people's personal exp. From my own visits and listening to UPC preachers, I hold that what you say here is correct. I am continuing to search as my time permits.
#2 I want to hear things from UPC members. I fear them not. Yes. When I go to a UPC church things I am amused at the things that are taught are people's behaviors. I think how can anyone believe this? But, if they want that is fine with me, they should not be taken advantage of. That is my point. I have no issues with the traditional PCI church, they would look upon me as a brother and I them
But, the modern UPC doesn't do that.
