I'm beginning to agree with 666Forever, that there should be some kind of way to sue these people in court and some kind of punishment for such unchecked extortions. I'm thinking that when a preacher makes a claim from the pulpit such as, "Give to God and He will give back 100x what you gave", that there should be some kind of time frame and if that person has not recieved 100x the amount they put in the faith offering (over and above their usual salary), that they should get a money back guarantee.

Well, this is how they busted Robert Tilton's ministry -- for promising miracle healing for large donations of cash. People showed documentation of the amounts they gave, along with their prayer requests that never came true. Kinda uncharted territory, and there's still alot of people who feel like, "Well, if you're an adult, . . ."
