I own a couple of her books, and I will admit that I think that "some" of her teachings are quite faith building. At least I can see what she is trying to say in some of her writings. The last book that I actually read was "The Root of Rejection".

There are a number of pretty good chapters in this book which talks about relationships with people; with family members, friends, dating relationships. As one who felt rejection in a number of dating situations, I experienced many bouts of depression in the last few years. I would read one chapter a night and ponder on some of the things Ms. Meyer would say and realize that I was not the only one who experienced rejection or felt bad because I didn't know how to deal with the emotions associated with rejection.

I've seen a few other books out that she has written that look interesting, but I haven't looked at them to see what they're like.

I remember one woman from the Adventist Church used to talk about how "painted up" the Rev. Meyer was on TV. Remember, the Adventist group was so against makeup. I figured anyone on TV would look pretty washed out without some makeup on. I guess I would have to admit that her "wealth" that she isn't shy about discussing IS a bit off-putting. However, overall, I think she has some good advice in her books. I've seen her on TV and as a televangelist, she is probably better than most I've ever heard. Not saying I would subscribe to all of her belief system though.
