She's a feeder, as we refer to such people in the bariatric community. The only surgery that will do him any good is called a duodenal switch. I weighed 400 pounds and was dying five-plus years ago when I had mine. It saved and transformed my life.

The other weight loss surgery procedures currently being performed are completely unsuited for such super morbidly obese people, particularly those who are clearly unwilling or unable to follow a very abstemious diet regimen. The eating requirements for the DS are rather like Atkins.
