HUGH SIGH OF RELIEF!!!
I'm expecting some of the more conservative and hateful people to start fussing over "freedom of religion", even though some of them have admitted how evil that man is. Maybe they see the writing on the wall- that people are getting sick of the hate-filled preaching. |

I wonder if we could ban him from the U.S. as well? I'm thinking not.

Why isn't he dead yet? Does hate petrify people like him?

If I lived closer, I'd drive there and throw eggs and rocks at him.........and probably pee on the drivers seat of his car or on him for that matter.

Don't get me started on what a (censored) Fred Phelps is................ I'm glad the British have done this! Wish we could stop him here.
Several years ago, he and his ilk came to my area to protest at Bob Jones University (yes, you read this correctly). Seems they don't like that BJU does allow gay people on campus for public events and to the art gallery. Technically, they can't stop them -- it's stuff that's open to the public. Ol' Fred wasn't very pleased with that. I am no fan of BJU but I'll give them FULL credit for this: they put up a sign and all it had was the section from Matthew about "do good to those who hate you." And had a table out with coffee urns and donut boxes for the protesters. I thought that was extremely kind of them and really did demonstrate turn-the-other-cheek. I also noticed that the boxes were half empty (and I am sure the coffee urns were being drained as well). And I swear, if I were a parent, I would have had to shield my children's eyes from the Fred Phelps posters. OMG, were they ever graphic. Personally, methinks Fred has a few latent tendencies and he can't cope with it so he lashes out. Just my opinion FWIW.

This is an article that references at least one study performed on this topic: http://www.mentalhelp.net...d=5&id=610&cn=10 I've read about a few of these studies (psyche major here). James
