and I often overheard disdain for the black P/D/F churches. A couple of the churches I attended had their trophy African-Americans (to parade around showing
how &quot;we don&#39;t discriminate!&quot;) and so on, but for the most part... you saw very few minority individuals and heard a lot of &quot;private&quot;

I had an experience where I related about a really unpleasant situation to a preacher. I was staying where his church was while attending a special class, and
because of a situation I am not at liberty to discuss I was attending his church (even though it was steeplejacked Southern Baptist). He preached a sermon

events(still no tongues of fire or international languages occuring in the Pentecostal churches here in my town each time they meet). Pentecost is a Jewish
feast day not a Christian holiday. I heard one Pentecostal church (Assembly of God) fasted on Pentecost when it&#39;s a feast and celebration of harvest, so
