6 years ago I was away at college thus away from my church for several months. I was completely lost in Pentecostalism, never questioned it before. But then I came home for a visit and I was completely struck at how hard and loud the pastor preached. When I was a brand new Christian in a Pentecostal mega-church I got given my first Bible, an NIV. I just had the most fascinating conversation with a PhD Psychiatrist this evening at the yarn shop where we sit around and knit sometimes!!!

She had this really interesting, clinically proven, tidbit of hope for people suffering from depression. Yes, even people on antidepressants that would like to see them work better.

She said that Omega 3 oils (commonly found in cold water fish) do wonders for preventing and treating this.

If not pente then something along those lines.
I am a bit freaked out by this. I want to say it is safe, he has denounced alot of the stuff to the congregation, but still scary. The church gets alot of ex charis and ex pentes, it seems to be the "safehouse".
I just don't know how to take this.
